Dr R W Psychology Ltd provides high-quality neurodiversity assessments for adults and children. Our assessments may involve Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, depending on your needs.
Dr Rebecca Williams (Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Director) oversees all assessments. Diagnostic decisions are discussed within the team and final clinical responsibility is held by Dr Rebecca Williams.
All team members are registered with their professional bodies and hold their own professional indemnity insurance. We follow NICE guidance and use DSM-5 criteria for diagnoses.
We offer:
· Initial Non-Diagnostic Assessment: 2 hours contact, feedback and a brief report. Fee: £600
· Full Diagnostic Assessment: 10-15 hours total (including report) for ADHD or Autism: £2000 Combined Autism and ADHD assessment: £2200
If you first complete an initial assessment and continue to a full assessment, £400 will be deducted from the full assessment fee.
Bespoke assessments are charged at £175 per hour, with a clear estimate provided before starting.
Travel is charged at 45p per mile plus £50 for locations outside Bangor.
· A £200 deposit is required to secure your first appointment.
· After your feedback session, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance.
· Payment is due within 15 days of the invoice.
· We accept payment by bank transfer. Details will be provided with your invoice.
· If you decide to cancel your assessment, your deposit will be refunded, minus the cost of any sessions already completed.
· You can cancel your assessment at any time without affecting your future care with us.
· Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Less notice may result in a charge for the missed session.
· No charge will apply if you cancel due to illness (including Covid-19).
· If you cancel or reschedule more than twice, we may need to review whether it is the right time to continue your assessment.
· If you are late or unable to attend your phone/video appointment without notice, the session may be charged.
· We will give as much notice as possible if we need to reschedule.
· We will call or send a secure video link at the scheduled time.
· Please be in a private, quiet space where you can speak freely.
· Using headphones can help protect your confidentiality and improve sound quality.
· We cannot guarantee complete privacy over phone or online calls.
· Please ensure your technology is working and you have a stable internet connection to avoid disruptions.
· Recording or taking screenshots of sessions is not allowed without explicit prior consent.
· If recording is agreed for clinical purposes, this will be discussed and written consent obtained.
· All information shared in your assessment is confidential.
· We will only share information with others if you give written permission or if we believe there is a risk of harm to you or others, in line with our professional duty of care.
· We may discuss your case anonymously in professional supervision to maintain the quality of your care.
· We comply with GDPR and only collect information relevant to your care.
· Your data is stored securely on encrypted systems or in locked storage.
· We use secure platforms (Google Meet or Teams) for online sessions.
· Text messages and phone calls are only used for arranging appointments.
· We retain adult records for 8 years and children's records until their 25th birthday, after which they are securely destroyed.
